Realtor AI ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our platform at realtoral.ai (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information: Your name and email address when you register.
- Chat history: All messages you send to and receive from the AI, stored to provide conversation continuity and personalization.
- Property data: Property addresses, search queries, and comparable sale data you enter or request during a session.
- Profile & memory: Details you provide (budget, timeline, agent name, preferences) that the AI uses to personalize responses.
- Transaction progress: Your checklist stage and completed items.
- Usage data: Standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited, used for security and analytics.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To operate and deliver the Service, including AI-powered responses personalized to your situation.
- To save and restore your chat history and transaction progress across sessions.
- To improve the Service through aggregated, anonymized usage analysis.
- To send transactional emails (e.g., account confirmation, password reset).
- To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive activity.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
4. Third-Party Services
We integrate with the following third-party providers to deliver the Service. Each provider has its own privacy policy governing their data practices.
- Anthropic (Claude API): Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate AI responses. Anthropic processes message content in accordance with their Privacy Policy. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models.
- ATTOM Data Solutions: Property addresses you search may be sent to ATTOM to retrieve public record data including sale history, assessed value, and property characteristics.
- Google: We use Google Maps Platform and Google Places API for address autocomplete, map display, and professional directory searches. Queries are processed under Google's Privacy Policy.
- Mapbox: Used for interactive map rendering. See Mapbox's Privacy Policy.
- Supabase / PostgreSQL: All application data (accounts, sessions, chat history, transaction state) is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase infrastructure in the United States.
5. Data Retention
We retain your account data and chat history for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual chat sessions at any time from within the app. If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption in transit and encrypted storage at rest. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Update inaccurate information via your Profile page or by contacting us.
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Portability: Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt-out: You may delete your AI memory profile at any time from the Profile page.
California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA. EU/EEA residents may have additional rights under the GDPR. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date and, where appropriate, by sending an email notification.
